THE LOGISTICS
SCHEDULE
Our current offering is called “Stellar Service” and is a one-time session for 3 hours. It is currently available every first Sunday of the month from 9am to noon over Microsoft Teams. Sessions can be scheduled by restaurant owners or general managers on behalf of their servers, or servers can choose to take our course for their own personal development. Looking forward into 2025, there will be more options than just the first Sunday of every month to meet your restaurant’s needs.
Develop
One thing we’ve learned from the pandemic is that you can do anything online. We designed our curriculum to ensure that busy restaurant employees can attend Main Course classes virtually! After scheduling, you (and anyone you’re signing up) will receive an email with directions on how to attend the course online - all you need is access to a computer with a working webcam; we’ll take care of the rest! You’ll attend the course online, converse with trainers and other participants in real time, and complete the final exam all in just 3 short hours. The pass rate for the exam is high as long as you pay attention and stay engaged!
REPEAT
General Managers and restaurant owners - we recommend that you implement a mandatory Main Course training for all your current servers, and as you onboard new servers, sign them up as part of their initial training. That way you create cohesiveness among the servers and an environment of care for the craft. Part of our strategy is to create an excellent and uniform serving environment for your restaurant, so that anyone who walks through your doors will become a repeat customer.
